Making Payments
Payment of all University charges is to be received in the University Cashier's Office by the due date to avoid late payment penalties and account holds. The University will not register a student, confer a degree on a student, or provide a transcript to any student or former student who has any financial obligation to the University (other than a loan not yet due).
To encourage prompt payment, the University assesses a 1.5% per month late charge on the past due amount if the payment does not arrive by the due date. Failure to pay amounts due may result in the referral of outstanding balances to a collection agency.
- Cash payments may be made in person at the Cashier's Office, 1st Floor of the Lory Student Center, during regular business hours:
- Monday - Wednesday, and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

- Make checks payable to Colorado State University.
- Include your Colorado State University ID number (CSUID), or your customer number on the check.
- Payments by check are processed on the day received (future dates are not honored).
- Any person who presents to the University a check that is not accepted for payment by the bank because of insufficient funds, stopped payment, nonexistent account, or other reason for which the person is responsible is charged a penalty as provided by state law.
