Apply for a Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan

Welcome to the Student Financial Services electronic Parent PLUS loan application.  This site will allow you, the parent, to securely apply for a Federal Direct Parent PLUS loan.  Please read our Parent PLUS Loan brochure for more information about PLUS Loans.

• You must either be a student's adoptive/natural parent OR you must be a stepparent whose income was provided on the FAFSA to be an eligible PLUS borrower.

• You must have the following to complete this application online:

                - Student’s CSUID Number
                - Student’s Date of Birth
                - First Two Characters of the Student’s Last Name
                - A U.S. Address
                - A Valid E-mail Address
                - Parent's Federal PIN Number

• Important PIN Information:  If you do not have a PIN number or do not remember your PIN, please visit the Federal Student Aid PIN Web site.  Please note that while you can receive your PIN instantly, it will take 1-3 business days for your PIN information to be verified. You will receive an e-mail when your PIN information has been verified. Only a verified PIN is valid to sign your application online. You can also Check Your PIN Status on the PIN Web site.
