Helpful Web Resources for Parents


Academic Advancement Center:  A student support services program to assist low income, first generation and students with learning disabilities.

Admissions:  Apply for admission to the University or schedule a campus visit

Career Center:  Explore majors and careers; find a job or internship

Center for Advising and Student Achievement (CASA):  Freshmen and transfer student orientation, undeclared academic advising, Key Communities, etc.

CSU Bookstore:  Your student can charge their books and supplies to their University student account.

CSU Health Network:  On campus health clinic providing medical and psychological care, and health education to CSU students.  Obtain CSU health insurance, get a detailed bill of services to provide to your health insurance provider for possible reimbursement, etc.

Financial Literacy:  Created by CollegeInvest, a not-for-profit division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education.  Their goal is to help you understand financial matters and provide the tools you need to help finance you and your family's higher education.

Housing and Dining Services:  Meal plans, residence halls and CSU apartments

Parent PLUS Loan Application: After you've completed the FAFSA and been awarded a Parent PLUS Loan, you can apply for the parent loan online.

Parent PLUS Loan Master Promissory Note:  All first-time parent loan borrowers must complete a master promissory note.

Parents and Families:  A website just for parents and families of CSU students

Parking Services:  Obtain an on campus parking permit, inquire about a parking citation, etc.

RamCard Office:  Create a Convenience Account to give your student the ability to eat in the food court of the Lory Student Center, do laundry in the residence halls, make photocopies, etc.
