Student Loans Exit Counseling / Repayment

The federal government requires that you complete a student loan exit counseling session prior to graduating or ceasing at least half-time attendance. The purpose of the session is to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a student loan borrower. This can be completed online.

Your complete student loan history can be obtained by using the National Student Loan Data System (NSDLS). NSLDS provides the detail of every loan that you have received at all institutions you may have attended. Loan detail includes the lender name, date borrowed, amount borrowed, and account status (in school, in grace, etc.). This information is updated monthly by your lender until your loan is paid in full. You will need your PIN that you received from the Direct Loan Servicing Center or the PIN that you used to file your FAFSA on the Web. If you do not have a PIN or you lost your PIN, click here for PIN Registration. Click here to access NSLDS.
