Tuition Scholarship for Eligible Family Members of CSU Employees
A scholarship for 25% of resident tuition is available to eligible family members of Academic Faculty and Administrative Professionals with regular or special appointments of 50% or greater and all non-temporary State Classified staff with appointments of 50% time or greater.
The application for 2009-2010 is available here as a printable pdf file. It is also available at Student Financial Services, 1st Floor Centennial Hall (formerly Administration Annex), or from the Benefits Office, 210 Howes Street Business Center, 555 South Howes.
The scholarship amount is calculated and credited after Census date* each semester because individual enrollment can fluctuate until Census date*.
- Undergraduate students
The scholarship is equal to 25% of student’s share of base tuition for in-state, regular on-campus credits (including supplemental and upper division tuition). Student’s share of base tuition is base tuition minus the College Opportunity Fund stipend. The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester.
- Graduate students
The scholarship is equal to 25% of Colorado Resident Graduate Tuition. The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester.
- Professional Veterinary Medicine students
The scholarship is equal to 25% of Colorado Resident Graduate Tuition (not Professional Veterinary Medicine Tuition). The amount is rounded to the nearest dollar and will be determined after Census date* each semester.
NOTE: The scholarship is equal to 25% of resident tuition as described above, not including fees.
*Census date is the end of the regular schedule change (add/drop) period and is September 9, 2009 for fall 2009, and February 3, 2010 for spring 2010.
The student must be enrolled in regular on-campus credits. Test-Out, Advanced Placement, Continuing Education, and Study Abroad are not considered regular on-campus credits. The student must be admitted to a degree-seeking program, Teacher Certification, or Principal Licensure at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
This scholarship is not automatically renewed; it must be applied for each year, with a separate application for summer if the student is attending in the summer.
There are certain eligibility criteria that both the student and the employee must meet in order to be eligible for this scholarship. These criteria are described in detail on the application form.
