All University scholarships require recipients to meet the House Bill 1023 requirements.

- Griffin Foundation Scholarship
For 2010-2011, $20,000 ($10,000 per academic year) awarded to qualified applicants. Must have an associate degree or at least sixty academic hours from a junior or community college, be seeking to complete a baccalaureate degree, have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better, and be a Colorado resident. Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis by ranking applicants in the following areas: Scholarship, Leadership and Service, Personal Traits, Financial Need. Applications can be downloaded from the Griffin Foundation website. Deadline is March 1.

- Partnership Award for Alliance High School Transfer Students
For 2010-2011, $10,000 ($2,000 per year) awarded to students who graduated from an Alliance high school in spring 2007 or after. Must have enrolled in a Colorado public community/junior college after graduation from an Alliance high school, within nine months of high school graduation, prior to enrollment at CSU, and have not attended a four year college or university. The students who fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and document financial need may qualify for up to the student's share of Colorado resident tuition and fees. Must be admitted by June 1.

- Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
For 2010-2011, $12,000 ($6,000 per academic year) for non-residents and $4,000 ($2,000 per year) for residents awarded to students transferring to Colorado State University to pursue a first bachelor’s degree. Must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa and demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. There are a limited number of scholarships available. To be considered for this scholarship, transfer students must be admitted by June 1. No separate application required.
*Students cannot receive the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship with the Ram Transfer Scholarship.
- Ram Transfer Scholarship
For 2010-2011, $10,000 ($5,000 per academic year) for non-residents and $2,000 ($1,000 per year) for residents awarded to students transferring to Colorado State University to pursue a first bachelor’s degree. Must demonstrate outstanding academic achievement. There are a limited number of scholarships available. To be considered for this scholarship, transfer students must be admitted by June 1. No separate application required.
*Students cannot receive the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship with the Ram Transfer Scholarship.
- Tribal College Transfer Scholarship
For 2010-2011, $10,000 ($5,000 per academic year) awarded to students transferring from an accredited Tribal College. Must be admitted to CSU for the fall semester by June 1 or for the spring semester by December 1. Student must have completed 30 semester credits at the Tribal College with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better at time of admission to CSU and must meet the admissions requirement in mathematics. Admissions application is due no later than June 1 for the fall semester or December 1 for the spring semester.

- Creative and Performing Arts Award
Award amounts vary and are awarded to students with talent in art, creative writing, dance, music, or theater. To apply, contact the department from which you wish consideration.

- First Generation Award
For 2010-2011, $16,000 ($4,000 per year) awarded to Colorado residents who demonstrate financial need, are admitted by March 1, and demonstrate potential for academic success. Student’s parents must not have received a bachelor’s degree. Students must complete and submit the First Generation Award Application through the Center for Advising and Student Achievement website by March 1 (a separate application – not the CSUSA). Students must also submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than March 1.
